The house is located in a rural area called Osulai and is Km 2 outside of Santa Maria Navarrese. Often when people think of Sardinia, in general, use the adjectives "wild", "unspoiled", adjectives that are located in Ogliastra indisputably. Not so much target of mass tourism, is located in one of the less "invaded" parts of the island, the Ogliastra is a chance a bit out of the ordinary. The coast of the municipality of Baunei, which stretches for 40 kilometers between Santa Maria Navarrese (Baunei fraction) and the beach of Cala Luna, is unique. The coast is full of inlets, fjords and beaches. Cala Luna, Cala Goloritzè, Cala Sisine and Cala Mariolu are the names of the most popular that can be reached only by boat or on foot after long walks through the paths used by charcoal burners in the past. This area is about to become part of the Parco Nazionale del Gennargentu. The impressive white limestone walls overlooking the sea are the image-symbol for the area. The most important center of the area is Tortolì, 10.000 inhabitants, located 8 km from Santa Maria Navarrese.
